Remerging from the torrid and dismal desert that is Western Australia, Death-Doom masters BANISHED REALM are set to unleash the ‘Utterances Of An Ennead’ EP, an 11 minute opus that encompasses the tenebrous and monstrous sounds executed on their ‘Impious Rumination’ EP akin to Krypts, Hooded Menace, Spectral Voice, whilst adding a cold, new breathe of melancholic atmosphere reminiscent of My Dying Bride, Mournful Congregation & more.

‘Utterances Of An Ennead” conceptually touching on a fantasized account of the 1959 Dyatlov Pass incident involving the disappearance of 9 Soviet hikers on Kholat Syakhl (or "Dead Mountain” in the local Mansi translation). Of course for many followers of fantasy the Mountain of the Dead invokes similarities to that of the Dwimorberg of Middle Earth, which is loosely referenced throughout the EP.
