SMOG MARINES - Opus LP

A long overdue album by the Los Angeles punk band Smog Marines, who most of you know as Opus, which released a wildly rare & coveted 7” in 1979. Like 5 figures coveted... Soon after release the band changed their name to Smog Marines and in May of 1980 recorded more than an album’s worth of music at Mystic Studios in Hollywood.
Forty six years since the recording, this batch of notes finally hits vinyl in an edition of 500 (250 black w 250 brown). The album has been transferred direct from the original master tapes and it sounds amazing.
This first time pressing of 500 features the iconic photography of Los Angeles artist Edward Colver.
