Overall, DYSTOPIA sounds no other band. Their specific style of scathing, sludgy / crusty punk, hilariously labeled "tagger metal" by members of DAMAD in the 90's, is filled with nihilism, self-disgust, suicidal ideation and very negative view of humanity. Depressing doesn't begin to cover it, but it has an anger that is akin to the powerviolence bands they often played with. A unique specimen that is truly great.
