FRKSE - Through The Slow Dusk
LP / Digital
(LUNGS-314)
Out March 27th 2026

FRKSE = organic death industrial.

An artist statement:
Pointing out joy these days is hard and it will only get more difficult. The doomsday clock likely can’t be stopped, hope is now excoriated. Espriu wrote a poem (where the album title comes from) that we thought romantically prefigured what the end will look like - a boiling, slow tumor crowded hell flattening all culture and identity into a shitty flat black and white 2-d logo with wispy dithering of vaporized particles (of what and who we loved) as almost imperceptible visual noise.
One level of the record is acknowledging the privilege of being able to gather data; a second layer is also acknowledging that we’re cooked and creating a record will not change our 1.5 celsius fate but some way to process and analyze is essential to our survival - there has to be some kind of hope even in fighting while losing. 2040 is real and we are ahead of schedule. But for now, the third layer, is acknowledging that we still have Pete Rock and SPK inspired bunkerbeats to yell over and enough agency to muster a mischievous smile at the bellends and the humans=garbage humans who have more power, corporate equity, copious grease and security than the rest of us. FRKSE is thus reduced to an infographic shop to disseminate the cloudless gloom via posthuman thermodynamics.

300 copies on black 150gr vinyl housed in a 24pt jacket with insert included. Recorded by Martin Bisi. Mastered by James Plotkin. Art by Reymundo Perez III.

FFO: SPK, Pete Rock, Pig Heart Transplant

**every once in a while the shipping amounts will seem insane (usually for multiple record int’l orders or US orders with shirts and records together) but rest assured we check each and every order and will refund any differences.
