ABSCESS - Political Vomit LP

Formed in the small town of Perry, Iowa in the Summer of 1980 and disbanded by the end of 1983, this sole studio session by Iowa's first hardcore punk band Abscess has been remastered and is available for the first time on vinyl 40 years later. First appearing with the track 'This Town' on the Barricaded Suspects compilation LP on Toxic Shock in 1983, this new LP on Hard Art is the same session that produced that song. Ten tracks of crude, anxious punk that only the isolated communities of the American heartland could produce, this recording is a true lost gem of early Midwest hardcore.
