Usually those words are the kiss of death, but what the fuck, this is a killer DIY punk LP! Somehow they mysteriously capture that canned ‘80s studio sound; that added to the nonchalant geezer vocal delivery somehow all works for a great punk album in 2018. You get flashes of Devoto-era Buzzcocks here interspersed with diminutive lo-fi basement pop a la Television Personalities or Wire. Seriously great LP here worth your investigation.”
